website reference

For my website reference  i chose a designer named zaha Hadid, she was born  on 31 October 1950 in Baghad, iraq, she studied architecture and later established her own London-based architecture practice in 1980.Hadid also undertook some high-profile interior work, including the Mind Zone at the MillDome in london.
she designs her jewellery pieces based on experience she has from architec, she works moslty in precious metals.i think her work relates to mine she uses a lot of forms and lines, and a lot of my work cosists of lines, open and closed shapes.

The prson that im going to reference is Babara Heath, she was born in sydney in 1954.she studied gold and silversmithing at Royal Melbourne institute of Technology, and she also went to Parson school of design in 1987 in New York.
Her forms are wide ranging from the sensual and organic to the structured and architectonic
I chose this jeweller because her work features organic shape and intricate sharp and cornered patterns.she also work with open and closed shapes to create a contrast

how jewellery forms and contemporary architecture relate?what simillarities do these two design sectors share in comon and what process do they undergo producing piece of work at the end?

architecture and jewellery have simillarities from design to testing, making prototypes to final work.As i have stated from my previous blogg that im looking into the different types of buildings all                around us and the forms used to create them.
from buildings to bridges that feature space by using panels, the negative spaces used to create drama,i would use this type of architecture as inspiration to create various collections during my b-tech.To achieve this,i will have to use form folding, fodging, and feature riviting where nessesary.
I will use various material to test out things(prototypes)and see what works with what.Because achitectural structures use alot of open panells and solinds depending on the design,i would like to use both,by mixing wire work and plate
